Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth......Those of us who have taken on the Christian life must rise above the things of this earth and set our sights on things eternal, following the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gods work in our lives has the power to transform us and should be focusing us on things that are eternal. Certainly we have cares and deep associations in this world, but our focus should be on what God wants us to do and how we can fulfill His plan for us. Christ is the center of our life and we must show Him to others in our daily walk of following His will. On this damp and wet winter day, focus on Christ and the power of God in your life, and be blessed as you draw others to Him!
