Good Friday or black Friday to some. The hustle and bustle of Christmas has officially begun. Some have started before now but today is the day that it officially starts. So many things pulling us in so many directions. I encourage you do not get caught up in the rat race and drama the world puts out. It is the devils way of getting you off track and getting us to forget about God. John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Since God is Spirit and we have been born again and made into His likeness then shouldnt we operate in the Spirit and not the carnal man? If you are caught up in this rat race stop and regroup. I want to encourage you to keep yourself in balance. Moderation is the key. Dont go into debt and dont bite off more than you can chew. Sew to the things that matter, the kingdom of God. The things of this ol world are of no value and will all burn up. Galatians 6:7-10 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. So keep your head on straight. Keep doing good and watch what you are planting. Cause whatever seed you have thrown out will take root and grow into your life, be it good it good or bad. Here is Heart of Worship by Michael W.
