Good Monday morning, Hopkins County area.....a beautiful morning out and 79 degrees, as the sun rises with partly cloudy skies, expect an afternoon high of 95 degrees and a chance of isolated thunderstorms as the heat continues, and then look for a nighttime low of 69 degrees and a 10% chance of rain....Looks like we missed the thunderstorms last night and only got a little bit of lightning...and our cooler weather has been delayed, as well.....gear up for another hot afternoon, today!.....I got some more moving done yesterday and got some chores done around the house, that needed to be done, and have a busy Monday planned, as well. Hope each of you had a wonderful weekend and have a very productive day today, as we start the work week!....As we enjoy the last few days of July, make plans to make the most of it and create some memories....This morning I was drawn to the Apostle Pauls letter to the Romans, chapter 12, verse 12, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.....Paul, who suffered a number of afflictions and was persecuted for his Christian walk, even gave his life for his beliefs, tells us that regardless of the challenges of life, we can depend on God and His promises, resting our hope in Him. And, that this too shall pass,....that our afflictions are only temporary and God is with us through our journey. But, most importantly that the avenue of prayer....taking our cares and troubles to God is the answer to persevering and receiving the rewards of heaven in the end!....We serve a mighty God and one that is in control of everything. On this beautiful summer day, place your hope in the Lord and be blessed with your trust in Him!
