Good Mornin FB peeps, Wow, what a glorious weekend I had! But, I will tell you, the good Lord was after me the whole weekend and HE won as always! Praises! This will be a long post, so I do hope all will read it through. First, we had our Christmas party on Friday and yes, the associates surprised me as the skit they did had me in it, but I will say, it was so funny as I am not one that likes to be made fun of at all! Great people! Then after that, I went shopping and shopped until I dropped. Got home around 8:30 - 9:00. I lack a couple gifts and I am done! Then I woke up Saturday mornin and laid in the bed completely still from 7:00 until 9:00 watching a movie that I would love to know everyone would see, it is called The Perfect Gift and it all represents what the Christmas season truly means! Needless to say, I cried and prayed so much Saturday mornin and thanked Jesus for what HE did for me. Then I went to Lifeway Christian Store and it was packed (what a precious sight) and two people had just finished paying in front of me with a line out the door behind me and after I paid for my purchases, the sweet clerk (about 18 - 20 years old) ask if I would mind her praying with me. I was blown away and told her that I would be honored! So, we are standing there with her holding my hands and her saying my name through the whole prayer, well I lost it again. And everyone smiled as I walked out the door! Okay, to finish off my evening, I watched the same movie again as if I hadnt gotten enough and here went the tears again, but happy tears! God is so good! Slept so good and went to church Sunday mornin, with yet another surprise as my church is so big and growing all of the time and everyone and I mean everyone was calling me by my first name. They were saying, Good Morning Jeannie, Merry Christmas Jeannie, How are are you this morning Jeannie. And mostly people that I honestly didnt even know they knew my name. It was unreal! So, my weekend was so full and my cup runneth over and that makes me feel so blessed! Thank you Jesus and Happy Birthday to you! So, to all my FB friends and family, take a moment and thank HIM and tell HIM Happy Birthday, I think HE would love that! Put those SMILES :) on your faces and make this season a really HAPPY one!
