Good Morning Aces Fans, this is Your Alaska Aces GameDay report. Tonights game has a 7:15pm puck drop at the friendly confines of the Sullivan Arena and is against the visiting Idaho Steelheads. This is final game of the 3 game series versus the Steelheads. Last nights game was very physical and was a hard fought come from behind ShootOut Victory for Our Aces. The game contained not one but 2 Dustin Molle fights against Johnny McGuire. Both players were given a Game Misconduct after the 2nd fight for Jersey violations. The game also featured a 7-Round Shootout which ended with a spectacular goal by Tommy Mele and a great save as seen below by Gerald Coleman on Rob Linsmayer. (Photo Courtesy of: Todd Meixner). Tonights game will see the Aces season debut of Jordan Morrison (formerly of the San Francisco Bulls) and will also feature some extremely hard hitting and some very physical play as these 2 teams battle it out once again. Both of the previous games have been decided by 1 goal and have been very tough. Make sure to be in attendance tonight with Bob Lester (In Spirit as he is on Vacation again). If, for some reason, you are unable to attend then make sure to catch Mike Benton calling all of the play by play action on KFQD, 103.7FM, 750AM, or on kfqd. You can also watch the game on GCI channel 1 in Alaska but outside of the Anchorage/Mat-Su area or on AmericaOne Sports online. You will not want to miss a minute of the action as Our Alaska Aces quest for the 2013-2014 Kelly Cup continues.
