Good Morning All. Interesting watching the news yesterday. Both - TopicsExpress

Good Morning All. Interesting watching the news yesterday. Both Sky and BBC reported that holiday makers were stung for 7 million pound last year in scams. We get at least one of these a week where someone will come in distraught, begging if we can help because they have booked and not received their tickets, or they have booked a hotel, turned up and there is no reservations. This week it was a villa someone booked for £2400 and the company didnt exist who they booked with. A holiday is precious. No one has money to burn. You must make sure you are putting that money in the right hands. For instance, Low Cost Holidays are not based in the UK. You dont have any protection if something goes wrong. Hopefully it wont....but I wouldnt chance it for a minute. We have had several customers phone up and ask to pricematch a holiday, and the customer has only priced the accommodation only, thinking its a full package holiday. Imagine their horror if they had booked it, turned up for the flight, and there was no flight booked. Its all very well playing travel agent but its like the dentist...you go there because the dentist knows what he is doing. You wouldnt want to give yourself a root canal would you? Here at Seaside Travel, you get what you ask for at a reasonable cost. We do all your passports, print your tickets, make sure everything is right before you go. Peace of mind.....and you always have someone to talk to. Love Nicola & The Lasses
