Good Morning Co-travelers! I wanted to let everyone in on my driving experience this morning! Left my home at 6:00am, as usual. There were a significant more travelers out today than there had been in past days. I come into Wilmington on 74/76, as I approached the 17 on ramp a vehicle in front of me crossed not one but both double lines to position themselves in the far left lane, where I was!! Just as I was nearing the 133 junction, out of the blue a white gmc pickup goes by me and cuts in front of me. By the time we reach 133 merge he had made 3 illegal solid line crosses!!! Yeah, like a half mile stretch!! A vehicle at the correct point of merging had to brake because this driver was driving at a rate of recklessness and in the righthand lane, that would have caused a wreck if he hadnt!!! My point, yes, the construction is a huge hinder, but, drivers such as this one need take some responsibility!! Unfortunately, some never will so it is up to the rest of us to be extra cautious!!!
