Dear Emmaus and Chrysalis family, The Fall 2014 walks are almost here. I feel it important to share with the community that we currently have 8 pilgrims registered for Mens Walk #163. This low number is of concern to our Board of Directors and so we are asking for your assistance. If you are sponsoring a pilgrim for Walk #163 and have not yet mailed in the paperwork, please contact the Green Country Emmaus Registrar - Rita Sorrels - at 918-355-1120, so that she might be informed of what is in the mail. It is our fervent prayer that with prayerful and intentional sponsorship, the minimum number of pilgrims for the Mens Walk will be met. As has been stated in previous posts, it is necessary to have a minimum of 20 pilgrims to proceed with a Walk. The applicants for Womens Walk #164 are already above that minimum number and we anticipate those numbers increasing over the next two weeks. So -- community of faith -- we ask for your continued prayers for Walks 163 and 164. The Conference Room servants and clergy have been meeting faithfully since the beginning of summer and are preparing their hearts for His service through these Walks. God is faithful and we joyfully anticipate that many eyes that will be opened to the Risen Christ through Walks 163 and 164. To God be ALL the honor and glory.
