Hes accused of stabbing and killing 24-year-old first grade teacher Robin Matthews in broad daylight while she was in her car Wednesday in Vidalia. A 19-month-old boy in Georgia has been placed in a medically induced coma after being injured by police during a drug raid. The GOP-controlled House voted early Friday in favor of state medical marijuana laws. The somewhat surprising 219-189 vote came as the House debated a bill funding the Justice Departments budget.
