Good Morning Concierge de Life :D Excerpts from Chapter One of Breaking the Code: Based on Being Real by Silvia Valentina Sweidan: In Consonance with Mahmoud Darwich and myself in translation of his beautiful poem: our two spirits connected one in the living world and one in the other dimension: “I will dream. Not to fix the sailing boats in the wind, since the epic story has already taken its wicked place on the path of my reality and there is no room for a poem to change a past that is passing or to stop the earthquake. But I will dream… maybe a country will make space for me as I am. One of the drops of the ocean. Who am I? I have no doubts that my presence like my future is with me…I have my notebook, I write and freedom frees her wings and flies high into the sky. I am like all living beings. I am nothing else I am a drop of the ocean like everyone else. Like a birthmark in identity, the wind doesn’t change its direction. I am me and nothing else. I am not one of the followers of Rome on the roads of salt. Yet I make up a percentage of the identity of salt in bread…I am me and nothing else! I tell history, fill up your trucks with the obeying follower, slaves of the modern world, and no one says I am today. No one says I am someone else. I am me and nothing else. I will dream. I will own the question, who am I? I am you, I am the earth, I am the ocean, I am the sailing boat in the wind, I am the compass, and I am the universe…and I am nothing else. I will dream…” Like Rumi, Tesla, and Einstein, Darwich defines himself through his work, he is who he is and nothing else. He is a drop in the ocean and that drop is connected to all the other drops and makes up the entire story of the ocean. He poetically repeats, I am like everyone else, I am nothing else. Like a birthmark in identity and he doesn’t change his direction at the foundational level as the winds help him sail the ocean of life! ... by Silvia V Sweidan
