FAIR WARNING At the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, a vision in a pink gown glided up to the podium, and after the tumultuous standing ovation subsided, she began to speak about the then upcoming Election. One of her most important observations was that absent the strong leadership which the world expects from the United States, chaos ensues. She refrained from mentioning that there had been no helmsman at the wheel of our ship of state for the previous four years. Now in 2013, we find ourselves in precisely the predicament that she forecast, only that it is much worse. We discover that not only have we been without any visible leadership, but that our great agencies are corrupt from top to bottom, and like the elm tree the rot begins at the top. We no longer trust our government, or our spectator president. Many villains have come before the various Congressional committees, most of whom have shown nothing but contempt and arrogance for We the People, and none is in jail yet. WHISTLEBLOWERS Many have come forward in an effort to provide us with the truth about Fast and Furious. the DOJ, Benghazi, the IRS, the NSA, and the CIA. Edward Snowden, a former contractor to the NSA is currently residing in Hong Kong, China. Both China and Russia are interested in providing him with political asylum for the nuggets of intelligence that he has not yet revealed about our own spying in cyber space. Stay tuned. A SILVER LINING There is one person whom we may trust absolutely with our lives, and she is the Lady whom I mentioned at the beginning of this column. Her truthfulness is legendary, her knowledge of International affairs is unmatched, and best of all she is not a politician. She was also the best Secretary of State that we ever had. Go Condi!
