Good Morning, Do I spy light at the end of the tunnel? Only a few more days of exams left; congratulations to those who are done, and all good wishes to those still battling their way through. Now, I must confess a certain partiality to jazz, and most especially to the music of this man, the first trumpeter I ever saw live in concert. Wynton Marsalis is an astonishing musician, equally at home performing Haydn as he is striking up a 12-bar blues. Here is is performing at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2005. Big Fat Hen brings a smile to my face every time.
