Good Morning Everyone…. FIELD SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED TODAY. All caps are quite the attention getter, huh? It’s 39 degrees outside of Mother Nature’s Playground. Temperatures will fall into the low 20s by this evening. It is raining pretty hard right now. According to the weather guessers, this will transition to freezing rain and then snow…with an accumulation of 4-6 inches by rush hour this evening. Good gravy. We will keep a watch on the conditions and update as needed. We have no crashes, incidents or lawbreakers in the pokey to tell you about right now. There are 192 days until the Brimfest Crazy Cousins Reunion and Veterans Welcome Home Parade. If you are a veteran, please be here to get a hooting and hollering welcome home. Today is NOT my birthday. Happy Birthday to those of you having your special day today. We hope you get the complete series of “Adam-12” on DVD. I am not in North Carolina, nor am I in New York. Good morning to the fine officers and staff at the New York State Police. Carry on! On this date in 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt held his first “fireside chat.” His was before TV, phones and the Internet and it was a very cool way to sit and chat with the folks. I am not a President nor a politician…but there is something very special about having a chat with lots of folks. I know this from experience. As always, we thank you all for chatting with us. Happy Birthday to Mae Young She is a professional wrestler. She is 90 years old today. She and the Fabulous Moolah, another lady wrestler have been wrastlin’ since the 1940s. They made a comeback in the 1990s and they were old then, too. I admire anyone who does what they want to do; however, I’m on record saying grandma should not be wrestling around. Happy Birthday to William Thomas. He is no longer with us. If you do not recognize that name, perhaps you will know his name from the Little Rascals. He was Buckwheat. He was one of my favorite Our Gang kids of all time. I loved watching the Little Rascals and sure wish they were on TV regularly. Happy Birthday to James Taylor. He is a singer.
