Good Morning Everyone. Had a couple of thoughts that have been moving me to prayer lately and among them is the action one takes after hearing the call of the Lord. We find that in John 6, Jesus tells the men that followed him after feeding them with the five loaves and two fish, ( one preacher I knew called it a "little boys lunch"), He had told them that no one comes unto me unless the Lord calls them. I found this to be very revelating and after praying on this I also came to several points that was among the thoughts that brought this writing to you. When the disciples were in the boat and the storms were raging they saw Jesus walking on water coming to them. They were very afraid and the Jesus knew this. Calling out to them not to be afraid. Peter, being who he was called back and said if you are the Lord, tell me to come to you. The Lord did and we knew what happened after that. But think for a minute. Peter knew what needed to be done and knew what was going to happen after that. He KNEW he was about to walk to his miracle. That the walking on water was not the miracle at all. But that the Lord called him and knew that no matter what was in the way, he was going to get there. This is faith. DO you have the faith of Peter? Not many can say yes to this because they cant get past the idea that they cant walk on water. But maybe walking on water isnt your obstacle. Maybe its something else. Like asking for forgiveness, giving someone you do not trust something to do. Or even giving a portion of your money to the Church. Whatever your situation is, I am sure you may see it as impossible as walking on water. But if walking on water is what it takes for you to reach your miracle, then I pray you have the faith to realize that the Lord will be guiding you, encouraging you, instructing you if you start to sink a little on the way. Have faith the Lord loves you. He keeps you in His heart because in the midst of your storms, He somehow finds a way to get to you showing you that nothing is impossible if He wants to find you, and nothing is impossible for you to answer the door when he knocks. There is no action that He cant make possible for you to come to Him. May the Lord be with your all this morning on His day. Rest well and rejoice in Him.
