Good Morning Everyone, Mother is home, Praise God!! Ted & I are staying here with her & she is doing very good. She had decided she didnt want to go home & thought she needed to go to the nursing home for rehab, plans were made they come & picked her up we followed, until we got in front of Grace Living Center & she reached down put her seat belt back on & said Im going home! It was a very difficult decision for me to agree to the nursing home in the first place, I cried for 2 days, went & looked at the place still wasnt happy went to Yukon only to find out they didnt accept mothers insurance so we HAD to settle on Grace. I got to the hospital yesterday & told her exactly what it was like & she was still willing to go, then when it was time to get dressed & she put on her Wonder Woman shoes she amazingly stood on her own practically got dressed by herself, got in the wheel chair by herself, rode to El Reno & said Im going home! So at 4:30 in the afternoon Im scrambling to get home health set up get her oxygen & meds... Needless to say with families help, her doctor & the grace of God, she home & doing absolutely wonderful! She certainly showed us she could reach down & grab all the strength she had to do this at the last minute. Home health has not made it here yet, but the family gathered what we needed for now & Lincare got her oxygen here, she had a good night sleep was up by 6:30 & now resting wonderfully! So Blessed to have such an amazing woman in my life that I call Mom!! 😊
