Good Morning FB Friends and Family! Our lives on earth are meant to be lived heavenly. You just thought - ok what planet do you reside on - certainly not earth. We, in our fleshly mind and body, think that serving God is hard and challenging - but in truth it is a love story and love affair like no other. He beckons us and says to each and every one of us I am the Lord your God. I go before you now, I stand beside you. I am all around you. Though you are feeling far away, I am closer than your breath, I am with you more than you know. Come to me - Im all you need. Come to me - Im your everything. I am your maker in the winds and waves and I am your steadfast so do not be afraid - thought your heart and flesh may fail you and your faith may stray - I am with you wherever you go! Do not look to the right or to the left, keep your eyes on Me. You will not be shaken, you will not be moved. I am the hand to hold, I am the truth, I am the way - Come to me, Come to me, cause I am all that you need! So many us worry ourselves - and yet He is with us - in Us! Ready to take up our fights - heal our wounds - and show us the way to His heart - live in His character - and love like He loves us. Read Matthew 6:25-34. Here are a few scriptures about worry: 1. Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22 NIV 2. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV 3. I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.. Psalm16:8 NIV 4. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NIV 5. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV His Word is full of strength and truth - that He is our provider. He will take us to the place where He will provide what we need when we need it. If you have time read the story of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22. Worry can damage your health, cause the object of your worry to consume your thoughts, disrupt your productivity, negatively affect the way you treat others, and reduce your ability to trust God. In each and every instance we are to turn to God for help FIRST - then others. Get on your knees - and ask Him to reveal Himself in your situation. When life brings more than you can stand - KNEEL. Friends, He is our sustainer - our provider. He is sovereign and knows us better than we know ourselves, I promise you! The Bible says It and I BELIEVE it! It is that simple. By choosing Him everyday - in every situation - listening to His beckoning call we can be free from worry and live in the present content - and stay in His presence always! Are you brave enough to allow Him fully into your life - your situation - in those places that are clearly marked do not enter? Those are the places where He is able to do the most as He draws you Closer. Lord God - I choose You - to draw near to You always. Amen.
