Good Morning FB Friends and Family! The fullness of unfailing Love! Psalm 90:14 says, Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad in all our days. While salvation comes as a gift to us from God, we find satisfaction in Him as we deliberately surrender all parts of our lives to Him! The big secret is that Christians are supposed to be fully satisfied with Jesus, but many still harbor an unidentifiable emptiness or need. Remember that Satan capitalizes on secrets! Secrecy always provides fertile ground for shame to grow. We grow more and more ashamed of ourselves for not being satisfied Christians. Because we wont ask questions inside the circle of believers, the enemy tempts us to look outside for godless answers! In the days before I began living and understanding the fullness of Gods unfailing love, I knew that not being satisfied was a problem that I allowed to fester and I just couldnt figure out why others had such Spirit filled lives and seemed satisfied but I didnt. I served Him. I even had a love for Him; however immature; I still fought an emptiness that kept me looking for love and acceptance in the wrong places. Satan knows that the key to an abundant liberated life, so he does everything in His power to cast confusion around our hearts - working to keep the Holy Spirit from liberating us! To permeate our very core! John 4:2 says, God is Spirit. 1 John 4:16 says, God is love. Get this yall - Love is not something that God does - it is WHO He is! The promise of 1 Corinthians 3:17 is where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Oh I so wanted some of that truth right there, and I got it! It is available for you too! Read Ephesians 3:14-21. Here are some truths from that section of Scripture from Paul in His prayer for us: (1) To be rooted and established in love. (v16) (2) To have the power to grasp the colossal love of Christ. (v18) Yall the power to grasp the love of Christ comes to us through the Holy Spirit IN us! (3) Know that Christs love that surpasses knowledge. (v19) Paul prayed for us as we walked with Christ in our human experience to perceive a depth of love that surpasses any kind of limited knowledge our minds could now grasp! And (4) To be filled to the measure of all of the fullness of God. (v19) Proverbs 19:22 - God alone is unfailing love! He wants to flood you with it - it is not a onetime occurrence but a daily filling of His Spirit! To live victoriously, every day we must learn to pour out our hearts to God, confess sin daily, acknowledge every hollow place, and invite Him to fill us fully! We are the hindrance to a satisfying life in Christ! God and God alone is the satisfier of our needs, our wants (sometimes). Friends, we cannot put our happiness and satisfaction in finding the love that is meant from God from our human counterparts on this earth! You will always feel empty and not fully get filled - only through Christ can we truly be satisfied. You will be given lemons from time to time, make some lemonade and know that your joy, your happiness is found in Christ Jesus! It has taken me a very long time to get to this point and it is something I must surrender DAILY - hence God giving me my DAILY BREAD - my daily feeding of His Word - into my Spirit filling me so full that anything anyone else pours in to me is lagniappe! AH - Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! Friends, do not look to this world for satisfaction; instead look to who already resides in YOU - the Holy Spirit = satisfaction! Amen. Have a blessed day!
