Good Morning FB Friends it is Saturday, August 30, 2014, yes the last day of August. We are in the Labor Day extended Weekend. The amount of traffic here in the Hub Area is incredible and takes our utmost attention! Please don’t text while driving, there are people who love, and need us around on this Earthly Destiny Road Journey! Today’s DRJ post is entitled “Let Us be Honest with Ourselves!” If we start in the beginning of the Word of God in Genesis we see an established flaw in the “human creation” “SIN” yet God foreknew, it wasn’t an “oops” moment for God, it wasn’t a “mistake” and by the way “we are not a mistake.” God knew the moment that the sperm and egg would join for our “creation” and has a Destiny for us! The true story in Genesis reminds us of our “free will of choice” God gave a command and He desired we (mankind) would obey, but didn’t design and create us to be “emotionless” robots. So here is the account Genesis 3:11-13, “Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” The man replied, “IT WAS THE WOMAN YOU GAVE ME who gave me the fruit, and I ATE IT.” Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?” “The SERPENT DECEIVED ME,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.” ~ So the result of this flaw (sin) we all have a need “TO BE BORN AGAIN!” Three quick things from this passage: Disobedience, BLAMING OTHERS FOR OUR SITUATION, & Deception! Our first major step is to see and accept the Gospel (Good News) there are many that know John 3:16, but don’t read the connecting verse 17&18, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. FOR GOD DID NOT SEND HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD, BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED.” ~ “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” IF WE HONESTLY LOOK IN THE { M I R R O R) AND ADJUST OURSELVES TO THE WORD OF GOD we then would become what God intends us to be AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST! ~ “Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone.” (Titus 3:1). Ambssadors with: No Condemnation! Filled with Love, agents of Reconciliation, Controlled by the Spirit, Messengers of God’s Forgiveness & Acceptance thru the Good News of Jesus Christ! (Scripture References: 2 Cor. 5:17-20; Rom. 8:1; 9; 28-39). ~ Oh by the way (BTW) drop the stones, Jesus said he who has no sin let him be the first to throw the stone! ~ Revival starts when we look at the person in the Mirror! “But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way.” (1 Cor. 11:31) ~Blessed2Bless Others!
