The repairman that just charged you twice what he should have has one on his card, so you are supposed to forgive him for ripping you off. Sometimes we are like an apple tree that repeatedly shouts, I AM AN APPLE TREE!, but we never produce any apples. Jesus said that you will know a tree by its fruit. If we want to show the world that we are different, it really should be by our actions and not just by an outward appearance. Jesus said “just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34 ESV). Small things are big to God, and often the things that we think are big are small to Him. It is the small things that make the difference in life. Sometimes just a little patience, or taking a little less for yourself is the difference between producing apples and being barren.
