Good Morning, Family. Its Turn Down For What?! Tuesday Part 6 Acts 4:17-21 17 But in order that it may not spread further among the people and the nation, let us warn and forbid them with a stern threat to speak any more to anyone in this name [or about this Person]. 18 [So] they summoned them and imperatively instructed them not to converse in any way or teach at all in or about the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied to them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you and obey you rather than God, you must decide (judge). 20 But we [ourselves] cannot help telling what we have seen and heard. 21 Then when [the rulers and council members] had further threatened them, they let them go, not seeing how they could secure a conviction against them because of the people; for everybody was praising and glorifying God for what had occurred. There are some that want us to tone down our testimony. They may even say, It doesnt take all of that. However, they have no idea what it takes! Its like the songwriter who wrote, You werent there, the night He found me. You didnt feel what I felt, when He wrapped His loving arms around me. (Alabaster Box) My point is that no one knows intimately, how The Father has touched you, or how far He had to reach to rescue you. Therefore, they have no right to tell you to turn down. This is our responsibility: But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully. (1 Peter 3:15) Its Turn Down For What?!
