Good Morning Friends!!! So its been a little while since I last posted, but things have been going quite well!! :) We had one trip to emerg due to a high fever of 105 persisting for a few days in which they discovered her white blood count was high. Pairing this with an enlarged spleen that showed up on the ultrasound, there was a tiny worry in our minds, but Dr. Nasr assured us not to worry and our pediatrician spoke with an oncologist who told him that with her history it isnt all that bizarre, so we arent worried anymore :) We have been spending time with lots of special people as of late and have been loving life! Thanks so much to Grandmaman Jeannette Deno for hosting her family get-together. It was wonderful seeing aunts and uncles we hadnt seen in awhile :) Roger Lafrance and Laurette, Robert and Shirley, Wilfred, Edward and Ed Cathy Michaud, Roger and unfortunately Yvonne couldnt make it, but we were thinking of you!!! Thanks so much for such a great evening everyone :) We also got to hit up the Mud Oven with Carolyn Wayne and Essa which was so wonderful!! It was our first time going and we had a blast!! We just picked up our finished products yesterday and we love them!! Ruby was so proud of her little turtle!!! :) On the medical side of things, Eleanor has been doing well!! She is up to 7.8kgs or about 17.2lbs!! She is also up to 72cms or 28.35 inches :) Her head circumference has also increased to 45cms so we are pretty excited :) We saw the OT last week who was very impressed with Epic Es oral motor skills and has since discharged her!!! Yay!! :) She had mentioned that we might want to get in touch with a private speech and language pathologist or start the process for First Words as she felt Eleanor was a bit delayed, but we saw our pediatrician the following day and he was actually pretty impressed with how well she is doing considering all she has gone through, so we are going to wait on that!! :) Eleanor has been working hard on her signing and is able to sign about 10 words. While we were at her craniosacral appointment with Kelly Watters, the ladies at the desk were quite impressed with her asking for more please and saying thank you :) She was having great conversations with Kelly too :) Thanks so much for being so great Kelly!! :) We wanted to say a great big thanks to Susie and Alex for the Christmas card we received in the mail, as well as to Ann for your Christmas card and its contents!!! Thanks also to Aunt Laurette and Uncle Roger for your Christmas card too and its contents!!! :) We appreciate the love so much!!!! At this point, we are one very excited family to be spending Christmas together!!! Unfortunately we wont be heading to the Cornwall tonight so we wont be able to take part in the Doré Christmas party, but we will be there in spirit!! And we will hopefully get to see you all at some point soon :) Thank you so much to everyone for your continued support and love!! We are so blessed and so thankful to have all of you in our lives!! This Christmas season is a little more special than past years and we are going to celebrate as much as we can!!
