Good Morning GRANC and GRAUSA! I want to share something with all of you today about something I heard yesterday. Yesterday I attended a Homecoming service with Dena Wike. Now as some of you may know, Dena and I are in a relationship. That day everyone in the congregation enjoy a GREAT gospel quartet. Then a previous minister of the church got up to speak, and the scripture that day was about Moses and the parting of the Red Sea. Now I wont go into the full scripture he read yesterday, but I want to stress just a few things from the minister and the scripture he read and message he gave. The Israelites were fleeing from the Egyptians and the slavery that they had been under. When they got to the Red Sea there was nowhere to run. The Red Sea in front of them, the Egyptians behind them, mountains to the left and mountains to the right. He said the Israelites were told to Be Still. Naturally throughout my time of hearing those 2 words I thought that meant be at peace. However, yesterday that minister gave a different meaning to me about those 2 words....Be Still. Those 2 words meaning Stand Strong!, Stand Steadfast!, Do not be afraid!, STAND YOUR GROUND! Yesterday, in a small church in Kannapolis a returning pastor, through his message, sent out a message to everyone beyond that congregation. Everyone trying to help the familys and extended familys and all the children. Everyone trying to do the right thing. It doesnt make any difference what your trials, troubles, or battles may be. If your in the right....STAND STRONG! STAND STEADFAST! STAND....YOUR....GROUND! As members of GRAUSA....THAT...is what we need to do!
