Good Morning Gents, So after a quick change of event yesterday we had a very eventful and enjoyable evening of quizzing and eating Pizza. 10 tablers plus Smithy Justin and a load of Pool players made the bar buzz last night but with a very important quiz coming up at the end of the month it was an important night to get a feel for our strongest quizzers! As quiz master I split the 3 strongest quizzers and had them draw teams to keep it fair. Team 1: Jon E, John W and Guy. Team 2: Steve P, Rob A and Shane. Team 3: Jon G, Ian and Neil + Subs for Neil (who was working the bar) Martin S and Justin. There were three rounds of General Knowledge questions and a Celebrity Cleavage Picture round which was worth double points (1 point per boob). All three teams performed very highly although Team 3 did seem to have 5 members at some point which gave them a bit of an unfair advantage! It all came down in the end to the Cleavage round which Team 2 stormed correctly getting 18 out of 20 of the pics (could have been 19 but they only had half the name for one of them) almost all correctly spotted by young single man Shane. They won by 3 points over Team 3 who were closely followed by Team 1 who were only 2 points behind. Well done teams and a strong showing ready for our quiz on the 27th March (date for your diary). And if they decide to put a celebrity Cleavage round in we will make that our Joker round! A quick note also that if Alan would like reschedule the BBQ at Chez Honeybone I propose the 20th March as that is our official 3rd Thursday but obviously this is dependent on Alans availability and we could always move it to later in the year. Thanks to Smithy for letting us crash his Pool night and also to Neil for organising the food.
