Good Morning, Its the morning after completing my 39.3 mile - TopicsExpress

Good Morning, Its the morning after completing my 39.3 mile walk to earn all the funds everyone generously donated to my Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It poured buckets the first 2.5 hours but then the sun came out and it was beautiful the rest of the weekend. I did suffer a few blisters due to wet sneakers and socks Saturday morning, but, blisters will heal! This was my ninth year walking and I still got goosebumps watching everyone gathering at 5:30 am Saturday to start out on the two day journey. What amazed me was that no one was upset it was raining, instead everyone was pumped! You still saw the sea of pink, it was just under clear rain ponchos :-) This year you were all amazingly generous! I raised a total of $14,823.10!!!! So to date since my first walk I have raised $89,203.10!!! Give yourselves a round of applause, it could not have happened without your continued support over the years. Next year will be my tenth year and I want to reach $100,000 (who am I kidding, I want to exceed $100,000!). I will leave you all alone for now, but Ill be back! Im already signed up for next year :-) The Boston walk raised $3.9M - at the bottom of this post is just a small sampling of how those funds will be disbursed - please take a moment to read to see where your generous donations go and see how many benefit from this walk. Again, thank you thank you thank you! I can only be successful in my crusade if you have my back!
