Good Morning LOVES!....& Welcome to this Day that the Lord has made!.... Day 2 of Death and Life : COMING SPIRIT Please read JOHN 16:1-15.....(including the Promise of Our Helper, the Holy Spirit) Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged....John 16:7-11 The author writes: Everyone has a certain moral compass, an internal guide imparted at birth and honed with time and culture. But this compass warps with the onset of sin. Something about this broken world, our imperfect upbringings, bad habits, and violated consciences turn this moral guide into a guess-o-meter. It always points somewhere, but north never stays true. That small voice in the back of our heads, that gnawing guilt deep in our bellies, that pricking conscience hidden in our soul - we attempt to quiet these with societal excuses and mental gymnastics. But the Advocate, the Spirit, cannot be silenced or twisted. He brings sure conviction and correction. He provides the resounding voice of Gods law. He brings erring souls to Jesus and straying children back to the Father. We must only listen for His guidance and ready our ears for His wisdom. Talk with God; Teach me the voice of Your Spirit and the sound of Your conviction. ENJOY THIS DAY MY LOVES!...REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT! I LOVE YOU!
