A Nightmare on Elm Street (English) 6/10 Genre: Horror Director: Samuel Bayer Cast: Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner Year: 2010 This film was on my HD for almost 2 years, finally decided to watch it and despite all the negative reviews and criticism I somehow enjoyed the film. I agree that its nowhere close to the original version but still wasnt boring at all and there were few chills as well but the story specially the ending seemed to be the weak point of the film. The story tells the story of Freddy Krueger who starts killing a bunch of high school kid in their dreams. Samuel Bayer not be Wes Craven but still was not bad as he succeeded in giving me more than couple of chills. The acting seemed a bit ordinary which is pretty normal for this type of films specially as all the actor were in the early days of their career. Not a must watch but something you can watch.
