Good Morning! Low pressure in the Gulf is still the main player in our regional weather scene. Substantial tropical moisture will keep rain chances high today through Friday. Moisture increases further into tonight with the highest rain chances on Thursday. While the chances of this low developing into a storm is low, there will be about an 8 hour window of severe weather potential very late tonight and for part of Thursday. Heavy flooding rains and a slight risk of isolated tornadoes are both possible. The weekend trends a bit drier and warmer as the low works up the Eastern Seaboard away from us. In regard to temps today...still sticky and quite warm, mid-upper 80s interior, coastal areas see the low-mid 80s. Bottom Line...heavier rains on the way, slight severe threat Thursday, better by the weekend. The 7 day forecast is below!
