Good Morning! Our Ophthalmologist Team, from California, left our Mission, this morning. They were tired and have had little time to relax, because of the increase need for Eye Consult and surgeries. We did take a break and bring some of them up to the Coffee Cooperative Nahualá R.L., located in the village of Pasac. This Cooperative was the first Project of The Guatemala Mission of Diocese of Helena MT, in 1965. Their harvest is less again this year, because of the continued effect of the Coffee Fungus, but they are working now to prepare their harvest of Organic, Fair Trade Coffee, Santa Catalina. The Cooperative has 85 Men and 105 women as Members. They explained to the visitors, the processing of their Coffee, before it is sent to another larger Cooperative for shipping to the United States. In the evening all the team relaxes in our Community Kitchen and are served a delicious meal by the Cooks.
