Good Morning all, hope you feel like shining bright my little Arachnocampa luminosa. Big Bike, big ride, big day. The sun is shining (for now). I was greeted this morning with a fly by of a squadron of red kites (apparently there is no term for a group of Kites as they are classed as non social). Dont know what was in the field, but they were all down together and rose into the sky with the noise of my engine. Taking off in various directions, some were only feet above my head as they climbed steeply and banked to make good their escape. I am still and always will be in awe of these beautiful creatures. Only major incident this morning was Norman the Ninja Runny Babbit. As you can see, playing dare on the road is not big or clever. I hop (!) his Mummy has stern words with him when he gets home. Love each other as if its your last day, for some it may be. If youre in a troubled situation, have faith. Ive been there, seen it, done it, and worn the T shirt. But our good Lord has ways of knocking us down, only to build us up better and stronger than before. It gives us focus on the important things in life. I cherish every moment of every day with my Doris, our life is not perfect, but it is filled with love, understanding and the appreciation that we have for our time on this beautiful planet. As they say: The best laid plans of mice and men and road dodging Runny Babbits.
