Good Morning and Happy Friday Twin Tiers! Clouds stuck around earlier this morning, but have since moved out and we are seeing mostly sunny skies. In addition thanks to high pressure down to our South, we are going to see another mild day. The Five Degree Guarantee for today is 47, while the average for today is 34. The mainly clear skies today will linger into the overnight hours. Expect just a few passing clouds with lows dipping into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. On Saturday we will start out partly cloudy, but clouds will be on the increase throughout the day. Expect one last day of high temperatures in the upper 40s. Late Saturday evening and into Sunday some mixed precipitation will make its way into the area associated with a cold front. So look for mostly cloudy skies on Sunday with a mix of rain and snow showers. Temperatures will top out in the low 40s. Going into next week and ending off 2014, colder air will be in place. This colder air will be more average for this time of the year. Look for highs Monday through Thursday to be in the low 30s and upper 20s. A cold Canadian high will also help to keep us precipitation free for the most part. We have a chance though to see a few flakes and flurries on New Years Eve, but then mostly sunny skies return for New Years Day. Have a wonderful weekend!
