Good Morning and Happy Thursday, November 13th to everyone! The weather will be chilly for the next few days, along with the weekend too! It will be mostly cloudy today with a high of 65 and a low of 40 tonight! We may get some rain on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday! Maayan Schechter and Teddy Kulmala wrote an article about Langley Pond and the leak concerns there! Langley Pond will be closed for boater traffics until further notice! The Horse Creek Water Trail will also remain closed! The leak was discovered on Monday after a man walking his dog noticed the color of the water! So, stay tuned and be alert about this! Congratulations to Cecil Atchley for being elected to our AC School Board! Larry Wood wrote about this! The Mead Hall students have received iPads and they submitted a nice picture with this article! All students in middle and upper school received these! This is the first school in Aiken County to do this! Rob Novit wrote about a March Conference that will promote ethical behavior! This will be held at SBHS on March 20th! Check the paper for details! Stephanie Turner wrote about Actors, Parody Plays, Theater In USC Aiken Productions and included some nice pictures too! Eric Russell wrote about the USCA women and their being optimistic about the new season! He included a nice picture of Mackenzie Reece! She is the most experienced player and the top scorer who is returning this season! The Area Statistical Leaders are listed in the Sports Section this morning!
