Good Morning my Beautiful Sunshines! I cannot begin to tell you all how truly Blessed I feel, each and every day! God has definitely smiled up on me, and it is my prayer that if any of you are feeling discouraged, and do not feel the love of God; invite Him in to your hearts and give Him your whole self. I promise, He will put a smile on your face that will last forever more! Our Spiritual Food for Today, comes from: Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV: Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations, Gods love and faithfulness doesnt just stop with a generation, it continues forever and ever. There are stipulations though, which can bring about generational Blessings, or generational curses. Albeit the curse can be broken. But it will take one, to completely submit to being faithful to our Father. Stay with me, because I am going some where. Often times we pay for the sins of our parents, and they may have paid for the sins of their parents. In the same turn, because our parents were faithful and kept Gods commandments and loved Him, we receive their Blessings, and as long as we keep Gods commandments and love Him, then our children will receive those Blessings. Those Blessings will trickle down, from generation to generation. But if we had parents who cared less about loving God or keeping His commandments, unfortunately, they as well as us will start to receive that curse. Like I said, we dont have to keep that generational curse ongoing. We can do things to turn that curse around. God does say, He is faithful and just to forgive those who come to Him humbly, and confess our sins. (1 John 1:9) The truth be told, I felt as though my family, well me anyway, was under a generational curse. And I almost gave up, and accepted it for what it was. That was the trick of the enemy, and after going through so much in my life, I decided to answer Gods call. And after accepting His call, I have witnessed the wonderful works He has done in my life and the lives of my children. Although not perfect, I do see His Blessings in ensuring we have all that we need. And when one is lacking, He makes a way for another one to pick up the slack. Not just tangible Blessings, but the Blessings of love, peace, compassion, and comfort toward one another. And this is why I keep Him in my thoughts, and praise Him continually, giving Him the honor and the glory. I am trying to praise Him enough, so much so, that my children will follow suit and do the same, so their children will not have to experience generational curses, but experience the generational Blessings.
