Good Morning my great Family.I trust that we have all been blessed to see this beautiful new day that has never been before.I am grateful to God for the gift of life,good health and sound mind that the Almighty God has bequeathed me.I know am not worth before His eyes,but because of his great love and mercy,He has given me this opportunity so as to not to just enjoy this day but also continue to talk about His word to us Alabaster Family. Today i wanna share something about challenges and how we should not be put down by whatever tough times that comes our way in this life here on earth. We realise that things in this world do not always work to our advantage.More often than not,the world will hand you a basket full of bitter lemon.If you know how to make lemonade,you win the day and if you do not,you spend the rest of your life asking who cursed you before you were born In every persons life,either rich or poor,civilised or primitive,there comes a time of ultimate challeng.A time when every resource we have is tested.A time when life seems unfair and unjust.A time when our expectations,our faith,our values,our patience and our passion are apparently pushed to our limit and beyond. This is what i mean by bitter lemon.Some people use such tests as opportunities to become better people while others allow those moments to crush their dream of becoming successful. I have gone through such moments and realised that there is alot to gain from misfortunes only if you will put them in the right perspective.For every difficult there is an opportunity to equal magnitude and at times,i believe even greater Let me share a story of a certain man so that you will understand better what i mean.This man was sucked from his job on false charges some years ago. He felt worthless and frustrated and abandoned by God.There being no otherwise,he went back to the village and tried a hand in business.Three years down the line he was driving a pick up and doing very well in business.The rate at which he was earning from the public service employment,he could not have bought a motorbike even if he saved for half a decade. Now a strong believer,he likes telling people how God used his enemies to lift him up.From a miserable employee to a proud man who could feed his family and contribute significantly to the society. Thats how God sometimes works.He forces us to do what is beneficial and in accordance with His plans for our good and not necessarily what we may like.This man lacked the courage to resign and go for a better alternative.It was only after the misfortune struck,that he realized that he had potential in a business.
