Good Morning to all that is fighting cancer and to all those that has won their battle. I know that it is a long hard struggle and I pray daily that they find a cure for all cancers. It is such a senseless way to have to live daily. I am here with Mom this morning, spending some time with her before I have to go into work. She is staying strong and fighting daily. She is one strong woman. She goes back to the cancer doctor on the 1st of October and we are praying that the spots they found on her lungs are in fact blood clots and not cancer that has attacked the lungs as well. They put her on a blood thinner and even when it s hot she is cold so she stays wrapped up in a blanket. My knitting for a cure is going very well and I am about to finish a blanket hopefully by the weekend. I have done it in light blue, white, a darker blue then a mixed of blue and white and thinking of adding another darker blue to it. It is huge. Also finished up some hats. I am having to do things as I can. Still dealing with a very badly fractured foot and will be so glad when it heals. But as many of you know it takes longer for a fracture to heal than a break. Monday will be 2 weeks that I have been in the air boot. Anyhow I am still in need of yarn so I can continue to knit for cancer patients. I really enjoy doing this, to me I am able to give them something that is homemade with lots of love as well as compassion as they deal with their fight.
