Good News Story. Sunday night at Murray Bridge Speedway I was lucky enough to interview both James McFadden and Dave Murcott upstairs in the corporate area among a very large crowd. A spectator at the venue was in the minute of telling me that he had purchased a tray of chips and gravy and thought the chips were a little over cooked. I grabbed the president Barry Merritt whom happened to be walking past and had the story relayed to him. He was appreciative of the feedback and advised he would look into it. Barry returned a few minutes later with a fresh tray of chips and gravy for not only the gentleman whom had advised of the overcooked chips but also a second tray for the gentleman’s son and a container of gravy. It would have been easy to have just acknowledged the gentlemen’s complaint/ suggestion and done nothing more - but to go the extra mile left not only the customer and son very happy but it also impressed a large group of spectatotors on the corporate deck. Well Done Barry Merrett – Well done Murray Bridge Speedway.
