“Good Old Days” antique bed turning event and quilt block challenge If you’re a quilt connoisseur, the International Plowing Match Quilt Committee has the right stitch for you. Join us at the Simcoe County Museum as we kick-start the 2014 International Plowing Match with the Antique Bed Turning event and Quilt Block Challenge on Tuesday November 5. Visitors can vote on the Quilt Block Challenge entries, enter raffle draws, enjoy complimentary light refreshments and shop from the vendor area. During the Antique Bed Turning portion of the evening, a local speaker will present an historical collection of antique quilts. The Bed Turning event has two sessions: 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person (HST included). There are a limited numbers of tickets available, so act now to secure your spot.
