Good afternoon, My name is Michelle Jameson. I am a Health Educator for the Apache County Public Health Services District. My work location is in Ganado, AZ next door to the Apache County District II Sub Office (in the blue double wide). I am asking for assistance from programs that are available to present at Ganado High School in the month of February. The dates are “tentatively” February 23rd, 24th and 25th. The dates are not yet confirmed by the school counselors. We are planning to set up a Teen Maze and hours will be mornings from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm. We are working with the school at this time and will continue to update those who are interested in assisting. I was informed to let you all know that we are interested in interactive presenters for 30 minute slots. We are not sure how many students will be joining us, I know that students who already passed their AIMS Testing will be with us that morning. Some of the topics the counselors selected were: 1. Nutrition 2. Bullying 3. Healthy Relationships 4. Suicide Prevention 5. Substance Abuse 6. Teambuilding 7. Teen Pregnancy Prevention and STD’s have been declined by the Assisting Principal due to preventing any school policy violations. Please let me know if you are able to help me and what days are good for you plus a topic if it is not listed here. On another note, there might be a Parent Night that Monday evening but like I said, we are currently working with the school to gets something’s straighten out.
