Good afternoon, The safety of products we sell and the health of our customers is our top priority. There have been NO positive test results of product indicating the presence of E.coli 0157:H7 bacteria associated with the product sold at Whole Foods Market stores. Out of an abundance of caution, two locations are issuing a voluntary recall of all fresh ground beef sold at the Newton store at 916 Walnut Street on June 8 and June 10, 2014 and sold at the South Weymouth store at 35 Pleasant Street on June 21, 2014. This voluntary recall is to advise customers who may still have ground beef in their freezers to discard the product and bring their receipt to either of the two stores for a full refund.
