In the midst of all this political rhetoric and controversy, Id like to lighten the mood with an activity that played a part in uniting the country post Apartheid in 1995 (Rugby World Cup) and again in 1996 (African Cup of Nations)!!!! YES!!!! SPORTS!!!!! The 2014 tbs eFM 6th Soccer Mini World Cup will be held on Sunday, June 1st and South Africa has been invited to participate. tbs eFM 101.3MHz is a 24 hour foreign language radio station operating from Seoul and is also broadcast in Busan and Gwangju. This years participants are South Africa, Brazil, China, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan and USA. Last year, we were invited and made it all the way to the final where we finished runners up to Indonesia. The address in Korean is 서초구 남부순환로340길 58 (서초동 391). Itll take less than 10 minutes to get there and cost no more than 5000 Won. Tents will be provided for teams and supporters! So, bring your cooler box, shades, hats and most importantly, GEES and support your boys!!!!
