Good afternoon ladies! I am back! My doctor had good news and bad news for me. Good news is this: my vision will not be affected in such a way that I cant work or drive so thats a good thing. Bad news: the laceration on the eye is likely to cause permanent peripheral vision issues. Light sensitivity is also still expected to be a permanent issue. The laceration tore off a major area of the first layer on the cornea and it did not heal the way that it should have. Thus, I find myself still feeling an irritation in the eye as well as sometimes a wee bit of a focus problem. Hes asked me to return in about 3 weeks for another exam of the eye itself. He is pleased with my progress but in his words I did quite a number on the eye. I will get pictures taken and Wee Wander and Quatrefoil posted first! Scarlett
