Good afternoon my fellow student leaders and a Happy New Year to all!! I would like to ask for your assistance in recruiting club involvement for this years Earth Day Fair! Sadly it has been 3 years since our campus has hosted an earth day fair, and this is why my fellow members of the Faculty Senates Environmental Committee & The Presidential Advisory Committee for Campus Sustainability have taken it upon ourselves to host a fair to make up for 3 years of inactivity. If any of your clubs would like to participate in this fair please feel free to let me know or contact the Co-Chairs of the Faculty Senates Environmental Committee Professor Malev ([email protected]) & Professor Bucci ([email protected]). To list a few of theparticipants we will have: a representative from Rainforest Relief, The Wolf Conservation center which will be bringing a wolf that attended our last fair in 2012, a representative from Whole Foods Market to speak upon the importance of organic products & even our very own Pamela Gorman the Vice President of the Entrepreneurship & Networking Club who will be showcasing her private business recycling sea glass found in the Hudson River into exotic pieces of jewelry.
