By the competent of a leadership Senator Ibrahim Musa today, the axis blew me away. Some projects seem to have been put on hold, though, (the Genaral Hospital project and the construction of sabon Gari road) perhaps due to paucity of funds from MDG to contractors . Planned to see the Senator / the future Governor insha Allah, and ask why. But yesterday they were here. Bangi electrification project have been approve 2days ago so also that JEMAKU ROAD constructions in MASHEGU LGA by the MDGs. As far as infrastructure goes, Sim has done a good job so far, concept and creativity. May God bless him and help our party, the APC, get it right. Its been an extremely busy week for me, with the frequent trips to neighbouring villages,so I also couldnt meet with youths across. I prefer to get first-hand accounts of developments in each areas (when I cant visit) rather than speculations, but I do hope that were developing at the same pace. And after a shot conversation with the Great Sim last night, I brought up the issue of Sabon gari road construction; sir! Why didnt you tell the MDG,s to start with ours, he says why capital city of kontagora isnt being fixed at the expense of others, because voters are equal. And today, I dedicated a considerable amount of time to interact with our people of wushishi and zungeru, most of those I spoke with expressed satisfaction at the rate of development. The village youths even prayed for the Senator. There is, however, a general opinion among the people that our Senator is stubborn. Not all viewed this as a negative trait, though. Personally, even though I know that infrastructural development will, in the long run, attract investors and result in job creation.. I wish that youth employment would be given more attention..encouraged among Niger North youths; an enabling environment has to be created. Many of those I spoke also happen to like Sim, if reports are anything to go by, should be the APCs guber candidate. We must prepared to contribute our own quota to achieving this. The desire of some people to change their society is matched by the courage to ignite it and their resilience to achieve it.
