Good day at Wild Wednesday. Might have a new member, and Volt owner. Thanks Emmanuel Chang for talking good on the Volt. He seems very eager to go EV. Jason Humphrey and I had an interesting talk from an employee from GMC CMP today. Saying the Volt leaves a larger carbon footprint because more is involved in the manufacturing of the batteries, and electricity isnt green since its from coal. He had nothing terrible to say about the car. Just that it wasnt as green as people think, and people who buy only do it to say they are saving the world when they are not? I tried explaining there are green energy companies like BullFrog power the pump in green energy into the grid, and how much electricity is resources are required to make one gallon of gas. But it fell of deaf ears. Still very interesting conversation.
