Good evening!!! A cold front brings north winds to the area overnight and Monday. MLK Jr. Day is looking sunny and cooler with highs in the lower to middle 60s. Winds become northwest around sunrise Monday morning. Gusty north-northwest winds average 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts possible during the day. Elevated fire dangers exist, especially in the afternoon hours. The big story this week will be a strong arctic cold front that moves into the area late Wednesday evening or early Thursday. We can expect colder daytime highs in the 30s and 40s Thursday and Friday with freezing rain possible, especially Thursday night. Stay tuned!! Cary Allen KCBD
