Good evening Fashion Icons, (as the lovely Chanda-Nicole puts it) I would like to introduce myself to the Fashion Icons of the D.H.M.Icon Facebook family, my name is Deborah Polchek, I am the new Managing Editor/Co-Writer for D.H.M.Icon Fashions Fashion + Style Magazine, and let me say that it is truly an honor to be apart of this wonderful team. I have known Chanda-Nicole for the greater part of 13 years, and in that time she and I have developed a strong bond in both our professional and personal lives. Our careers took very different paths, I went on to become a marketing executive, and she a fashion designer, however, we have never strayed from each other in that our professional lives are and will always be connected. When she asked me to join the team, I was overjoyed, because let me tell you guys she is one touch cookie. She has been like a mother lioness over the creation of this company, guarding and protecting the identity of D.H.M.Icon Fahions. She is a woman of many hats and talents, so when she asked me to join I couldnt wait to get started. We are expanding our inventory to include: newer more sleek contemporary styles that will work in unison with a more polished look. Penelope Glam Piper is our International Fashion Contributor U.K., she is an accomplished designer who knows her way around European Fashions, she has also passed her designs on to be sold by D.H.M.Icon Fashions previously, she has Chanda-Nicole have been best mates since childhood, and is now doing the reporting and shipping fashions all the way from England. We are super excited to have her onboard. Next up we have Cynthia Dyson who is our Fashion Director, she is an accomplished writer, and has worked with Chanda-Nicole as a buyer for 9 years. She will be writing and reporting the latest fashion trends, as well as overseeing our upcoming fashion projects (runway show and fashion ad). Last but most certainly not least the incredible talent of Antonio Miliani (a.k.a. Tony) who is our production/copy/research as well as our Support Director, he has know Chanda-Nicole for 11 years, and has been with her since the inception of D.H.M.Icon Fashions. As I am sure most of you have read, she got her bum chewed this morning about taking off some of those hats thats been weighing her down, and delegating the responsibilities to the appropriate individuals. She has done it all, she did the entire website herself, researched her own designs, writing most of the articles, and a whole host of other things. So, we as her team told her enough is enough, we are taking some of the burden off her shoulders, and working to ensure that she sleeps a full 8 hours. We may work behind the scenes, but we are a family. She adores each and every one of you, her Fashion Icon on Facebook, her face lit up when she noticed that D.H.M.Icon had more likes in one day than when she first started a couple of years ago. She beams with pride when she meets new people whether they purchase anything or not, and she is so very grateful to you all for sticking with her. I have witnessed this first hand her sheer joy, from late night phone calls when I can hear she is dead tired from working, to when she makes a sale. She is truly a good woman, and as I write this I am beaming with pride just knowing that she and I are friends until the end. So, on behalf of myself and the rest of the staff, I truly want to say thank you all so very much for sticking it out with us (feels good to include us in this), and for supporting Chanda-Nicole by way of your likes, visits, and purchases. We have only just begun and look out 2014 because we are the EVOLUTION of beauty, fashion and STYLE!
