Good evening. So tonight I am announcing a raffle of sorts to help fund the GoFundMe initiative I started. The entry rules are simple. Each $50.00 donation enters you into the raffle for my Red Telecasater with a RoadRunner case included. So how do you know you can trust me? Good question. First and foremost, I work as a government contractor. Failure to deliver and/or fraud would mean the loss of my clearance. Pure and simple. So my day job hangs in the balance of me following through on this. Nikia, Ive talked about her before, would be the first person to report me if I engaged in fraud. Second, Im pretty open as to who I am. It is rather easy to find all the information on me that you would need to report me to authorities. Name, Michael D Long. City and State, Virginia Beach, VA. With those particulars out of the way here is what you need to do. Go to gofundme/epilepSEE Second, make a $50.00 donation. (Full disclosure, I am not a 503c Non_Profit. This means that your donation is not tax deductible). Each increment of 50 will add an additional entry into the drawing. So 100.00 will be two entries, etc... Third, send me an e-mail that I have established on my regular domain at epilepSEE@mikedlong noting that youve made your donation, dollar amount, name, and address. So IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU PUT AT LEAST YOUR INITIALS AND LAST NAME ON THE DONATION SO THAT I CAN MATCH UP YOUR E_MAIL TO THE DONATION. Fourth, My family is not allowed to win, but they can feel free to enter. ;-) Fifth, I will hold the raffle on the date that I had my first date with my wife. Feb 17th @ 2000 EST. Last day to make a donation is the 16th of February. Sixth, I will pay for standard shipping only (the least cost to get it there). Anything above that will need to be offset. I will include tracking. Seventh, Those that have already given are already entered. Lastly, This is open to all countries that have trade relations with the US. However; if the winner is not in the US shipping costs will be born upon the winner. I will chip in $50 US for shipping but the balance will need to be paid upfront. I will get total shipping figure should this be the case prior to shipping. Any and all taxes, tariffs are the sole responsibility of the winner. So what to do if the winner is overseas but fails to pay the shipping? Good question. Another name will be drawn. The amount of the donation will be refunded back to the person via PayPal or Check. What if the winner fails to give me their address? Good question, Another name will be drawn. I think that should about cover it. I will video tape the drawing as a for the record. Winner will be notified via e-mail and this web page. I will include the Video in the announcement. Winner will have 7 business days to confirm. Failure to confirm will incur another drawing for another winner. This way if the winner is hit by a bus someone still wins. (Guitar was purchased at the Guitar Center and cost 450 bucks used about 3 years ago in Virginia Beach)
