Good evening, The majority of the United kingdom will remain dry this evening with sunny spells for much of northern England and southern Scotland, there are also sunny spells for Wales, the West Midlands and the South West although a shower can’t be ruled out in these areas. Conditions will remain generally cloudy for parts of the South East, East Anglia and the East Midlands, with some more showers likely this evening, especially for the South East although they will not be as intense as they were this morning. Eastern Scotland may see a light shower or two this evening but most places remaining dry, for western Scotland and NI, cloud will tend to thicken here as a weather front will start to edge in from the west. During the night conditions will remain generally dry for much of the United Kingdom, parts of the far South East may continue to see some isolated showers during the night and for NI & western Scotland, we will see a band of rain edge in through the night, with gusty winds in behind. Temperatures will widely range from 11°c – 14°c. During tomorrow the weather front that affected Scotland and NI earlier, will progress south eastwards during the day, bringing cloud and patchy rain to parts of northern England, Wales, West Midlands and the South West. It will feel much cooler and fresher for NI and Scotland with some blustery showers possible in areas. For the East Midlands, East Anglia and the South East it will remain largely dry with some sunny spells on offer throughout the day, there will be some variable cloud amounts possible at times. Remaining warm for parts of England tomorrow with temperatures of up to 28°c possible in the South East, generally around 24°c for the East Midlands, East Anglia, Lincolnshire and parts of southern Yorkshire. Behind the frontal system temperatures will widely range from 16°c – 19°c. Enjoy the rest of your day, Stuart.
