Good evening Warriors, and Supporters. This is for all the new people liking our page and the old ones more history on W4W. We started Wags 4 Warriors in 2011 with our training site in Brecksville Ohio. Frank and Jen De Lorenzo started W4W up so that a veteran will not have to pay or fundraise for a service dog to heal. The first fundaiser we did we used that money to open a site and pay for some rescued dogs. This is very close to us as Frank is a veteran. 90% of our dogs are rescued dogs for all shelters. We evaluate every dog coming into the program , not every dog is meant to be a service dog. We use all breeds as long as the temperament is there. In the almost 3 years we have over 125 Warriors and dogs come into the program. We do this at NO COST. We pay for the dog, training, equipment, and vet bills. There is enough stress trying to heal without worrying about the cost of something that will help you heal. A service dog is not a magic pill it is a tool to heal and nothing better then the love a dog will show us. We see places making vets pay up to 25 thousand for a service dog. Not if we can have anything to do with it. FREE is FREE. All money raised goes to support the Warriors, dogs and the program. In the past 3 years NOBODY in W4W is paid. NOBODYYYY!!!!
