Good evening Weather Watchers!! ..... NEW DATA.... Many of you saw some very appreciable amounts of moisture with this last storm. The system is winding down quickly with just a few showers in Central KS. Another storm is on the heals of this system- We will have a dry day Saturday and most of Sunday before Showers and Thunderstorms develop Sunday late afternoon/evening and continue into the overnight hours. Models are showing the potential for moderate to heavy rainfall in South Central and Southeast KS. Check out the what the NAM and GFS Models are showing for precip amounts.... If that guidance continues Flash Flooding will likely become a problem SE of the Kansas Turnpike- an area that reported 4-8 inches of rain in the last 24-30 hours. After Sunday/Monday system we will have at least a week or so of absolute beautiful Fall weather- Highs in the 60s and 70s lows in the 40s. If you have questions- please let us know....
