Good evening all! It was a slow start for the G man today. We got up and got dressed for church and as we were walking out the door, he said he was starting to feel really bad and could not make it to church sooooo we turned around, came back inside and on the sofa he stayed until about 4 this afternoon. I went to the river to cut grass after Wayne got home from church and when I got back, Grayson was standing in the kitchen with his brace and shoes on. He had gotten up by himself, put his shoes and brace on and had come to the kitchen and fixed himself something to drink. He was feeling much better and I was thankful!!! He came out on the patio while I was watering flowers and then he had several visitors stop by for a while. He just came inside and had some pizza and is watching a little football. Tomorrow is a big day. We head to UVA in the afternoon to get the bandage taken off of the graft site for the first time. We hope and pray that all is well and healing so he can start bearing weight again. All and all he has had a good weekend PTL and we look forward to a good week :) I am really tired tonight (O wait-I am really tired every night) so I am heading up. I hope you sleep well tonight. We all have our issues and struggles but we still have so much to be thankful for. As I was coming home from the river, I was listening to Positive Hits Radio and the Jeremy Camp song, There Will BE a Day came on. It made me think of us and the others on this page that are in the middle of a storm. There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, no more fears, there will be a day when the burdens of this place will be no more, well see Jesus face to face O what a glorious day that will be but until then we will all trudge along, be thankful for our daily blessings and rely on our awesome God for endurance and as always remain #GWKstrong PS.
